Suppliers check your website before they'll open an account

Wholesale runs on trust. Before a consumer brand grants you a trade account, someone on their side will search for your company, open your website, and decide within a minute whether you look like a business worth supplying. No website, or a half-finished template with stock photos, and the conversation stalls before you get to talk terms. We've built exactly this kind of site for a UK consumer-brands distributor: company credentials up front, product categories laid out clearly, and a dedicated supplier page that answers the due-diligence questions before anyone has to ask them.

Most distributors don't need a public shop. Trade prices are negotiated, not published, so the site's job is to present your product range, your compliance details, and your logistics capability in a way that reassures a buyer or a brand manager. That usually means a sharp brochure site with a product-category showcase, a credentials page that mirrors your Companies House record, and a structured enquiry form for brands looking for distribution. If you also sell to the public, WooCommerce can sit alongside the trade content without muddying the two audiences.

Everything You Need to Succeed Online

The features that matter most for wholesale & distribution

Due Diligence Ready

Company registration number, VAT number, registered address, insurance, and accreditations displayed exactly where a compliance team expects to find them.

Product Category Showcase

Household goods, health and beauty, food and drink. Your ranges presented photographically by category, without publishing the trade prices you negotiate privately.

Supplier Enquiry Forms

A structured form for brands seeking distribution that captures product type, volumes, and territory in one pass, so the first phone call starts from real detail.

Trade Catalogue Access

A password-protected trade area or downloadable catalogue for approved account holders, with price lists you can update yourself without touching the public site.

Logistics & Capability Pages

Warehousing, fulfilment, and delivery coverage explained plainly. Buyers want to know you can actually move stock before they commit their brand to you.

Built to Look Established

Clean, confident design with real photography and named people. The site carries the weight of an established operation because that's what buyers are checking for.

Key Pages We Build

Every website includes the essential pages your customers expect.

  • About & Credentials Your company story, leadership, registration and VAT details, and accreditations. The page a compliance team reads first.
  • Product Categories A visual showcase of the ranges you distribute, organised by category so buyers can see the breadth of your catalogue at a glance.
  • For Brand Suppliers A page written for brands looking for a distribution partner: your channels, your coverage, and how to start the conversation.
  • Logistics & Fulfilment Warehouse capacity, order turnaround, and the territories you deliver to. Practical proof that you can handle the volumes.
  • Trade Enquiries A structured enquiry form for new trade accounts and supplier approaches, feeding straight into your inbox or CRM.

Cordley Solutions: a brochure site with one job, passing supplier due diligence

Screenshot of the Cordley Solutions homepage. Navy winged-crest logo reading Cordley Solutions Limited, uppercase navigation for Home, About Us, Products and Categories, Suppliers and Partnerships, and Contact Us. Headline "Source. Select. Supply." above a line describing sourcing established consumer brands for UK online marketplaces, with a navy Partner With Us button beside a photograph of plain cardboard boxes on a pale grey background.

Cordley Solutions · UK consumer-brands distribution, Herefordshire

Cordley Solutions is a brand-new UK consumer-brands distribution business whose website exists to pass supplier due diligence: a brand manager searches the company, opens the site, and decides within a minute whether it looks worth trading with. We measured five reference sites before designing anything, contrast-tested the client's own palette at kickoff, and dropped his accent colour when it measured 2.59:1 against white. The final palette ships body text at 13.92:1. The build went from empty folder to live in three days, launching on 18 July 2026. No invented scale and no stock-photo team: the site says plainly that the company is at the beginning, and treats that honesty as the trust strategy.

  • 2.59:1 the contrast ratio that killed the accent colour
  • 5 reference sites measured before designing
  • 3 days from empty folder to first live deploy
  • 13.92:1 body-text contrast the final palette ships

See E-E-A-T in practice

Four pages carry the due-diligence load. Each one answers a question a compliance team would otherwise have to ask.

  • About Us Founded May 2026, Company No. 17195360, two named directors with real backgrounds, and a "stage we are at" section that says plainly the company is at the beginning.
  • Suppliers & Partnerships The due-diligence page itself: why suppliers work with Cordley, what makes a good fit, how working together starts, and a promised reply within one working day.
  • Products & Categories Category showcase for household, health and beauty, personal care and FMCG lines, with an honest section explaining why there is no public brand list.
  • Editorial Standards Who writes the site, how content is produced, honesty over overstatement, review dates and a corrections policy. Rare on a trade site, and checkable.

Cordley Solutions was built hand-coded to keep the site lean enough for its Core Web Vitals and AI-search targets. The same SEO, schema and AI Discovery Files patterns apply directly to a WordPress build.
