Your regulars found you by walking past. Everyone else needs your website.

Cafes run on community. Your regulars know the menu by heart and the barista knows their order. But what about everyone else? The person who just moved to the area, the remote worker looking for good WiFi, the parent searching for somewhere child-friendly. They're all checking your website first. We build WordPress sites for cafes that capture that welcoming feeling and turn online visitors into walk-in customers.

We've worked with independent cafes, brunch spots, and speciality coffee shops across the UK. Your website needs to show your menu, your vibe, and your location clearly. No one wants to scroll through five pages to find your opening hours. We also build in click-and-collect ordering, loyalty programme sign-ups, and allergen info that meets Natasha's Law requirements. Everything your customers expect, presented simply.

What I'd Build First for a Cafe, and Why

First build: honestly, for most cafes, a fast single-page site: hours, location, menu as text, photos of the food and the room, and a tended Google Business Profile doing the heavy lifting on Maps. Cafes are discovered on Maps and Instagram; the website's job is to confirm the decision, not to make it. It needs to load instantly on a phone outside the door.

What I'd reject: a fifteen-page WordPress build for a business this shape. It's the wrong tool, and we'd say so in the quote: a static site that never needs plugin updates serves most cafes better and costs less to run. We sell WordPress for a living; recommending it where it isn't needed is how agencies burn trust.
