These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the Press Forge website and the services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Press Forge is a trading name of BSolve IT Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 4607330). VAT registration number: GB 806 170 747.
Definitions
- "We", "us", "our" refers to BSolve IT Limited, trading as Press Forge.
- "You", "your", "client" refers to the person or organisation using our website or engaging our services.
- "Services" refers to WordPress design, development, support, maintenance, and related web services provided by us.
- "Website" refers to https://www.pressforge.co.uk and all pages within it.
- "Project" refers to any specific piece of work agreed between you and us.
Services
We provide WordPress website design, development, WooCommerce solutions, ongoing support and maintenance, speed optimisation, security hardening, and website migration services. The specific scope of any project will be agreed in writing before work commences.
We will carry out all work with reasonable skill and care. We will endeavour to meet any agreed timelines, though timescales are estimates and not guaranteed unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
WordPress hosting is provided by our sister company 365i and is subject to their separate terms and conditions.
Quotes and Pricing
All quotes are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the information provided by you at the time of enquiry; any changes to the project scope may result in an adjusted quote.
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will be added at the prevailing rate where applicable.
Payment Terms
- A deposit of 50% is required before work begins on new website projects.
- The remaining balance is due upon project completion, before the website is made live.
- For ongoing support and maintenance, invoices are issued monthly and are payable within 14 days.
- We reserve the right to suspend services if invoices remain unpaid beyond 30 days.
- We accept payment by bank transfer and major debit/credit cards.
Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, you will own the custom design and content created specifically for your project. This does not include ownership of any third-party components, WordPress themes, plugins, or open-source software used in the build.
We retain the right to display the completed work in our portfolio and to include a discreet credit link in the website footer, unless you request otherwise in writing.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content, images, or materials you provide to us for use in the project do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or in connection with our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, howsoever caused.
We are not responsible for any downtime, data loss, or security breaches caused by third-party hosting providers, plugins, or services beyond our reasonable control.
Termination
Either party may terminate a project by providing written notice to the other party. In the event of termination:
- You will be invoiced for all work completed up to the date of termination.
- Any deposit paid is non-refundable, as it covers the cost of work already undertaken, including research, planning, and design.
- We will provide you with any completed deliverables upon payment of outstanding invoices.
We reserve the right to terminate a project immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to provide required materials within a reasonable timeframe, or if invoices remain unpaid for more than 30 days.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
