Our Simple 4-Step Process
Every project follows a proven process that keeps you informed and in control from first contact to launch day.
Start Your ProjectDiscovery
A consultation call with the founder, then a written scope and a fixed quote. You know exactly what you're getting and what it costs before anything starts.
Design
Visual designs presented for your approval, with two rounds of revisions included. Nothing gets built until you've signed off the direction.
Develop
Your site is built on a private staging URL you can click through from the first week. You watch it take shape rather than waiting for a big reveal.
Launch
We work through a launch checklist covering redirects, SEO, analytics, and backups, then hand over with training and documentation. Support continues after launch.
Every project is led by Mark McNeece, founder of Press Forge and 365i.

What Our Clients Say
“He understood our vision for the Grange Transport website and brought it to life beautifully. His attention to detail, creativity, and responsiveness throughout the entire process was outstanding.”
“Mark worked tirelessly and managed to not only solve all my website issues but also provide a much better hosting service at a fraction of the cost that I was previously paying. I'm not very technically minded but he was able to explain things in a way I could understand.”
“Mark very quickly found all of the faults with my Wordpress site that my previous company missed altogether, most importantly the crucial AI discovery, outdated high site security risk plugins, out of date website core. He fixed all of the issues and errors within 72 hours.”
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our WordPress services.
A professionally designed WordPress website typically costs between £1,500 and £10,000+ depending on complexity. A brochure site for a small business starts from around £1,500, while an e-commerce store or custom web application can range from £3,000 to £15,000. We provide detailed, transparent quotes based on your specific requirements. No hidden fees or surprises.
Most WordPress websites take between 4 and 8 weeks from initial brief to launch. A straightforward brochure site might be ready in 3-4 weeks, while a complex WooCommerce store or custom-built solution could take 8-12 weeks. Timelines depend on scope, content readiness, and feedback turnaround. We agree a clear schedule before starting.
Absolutely. WordPress is designed to be user-friendly, and we build every site with easy content management in mind. We provide training on how to update pages, add blog posts, and manage basic settings. For anything more complex. Design changes, new features, or technical updates. Our support team is always here to help.
Our maintenance plans include core, plugin, and theme updates, security monitoring, daily backups, uptime monitoring, and monthly Website Care Reports. Plans start at £30/month (Essential), with Premium at £69/month and Business at £149/month adding more included edit time, priority support, and faster response times. Plans are exclusively for sites hosted with our sister company 365i, and free migration is included when you sign up.
Yes, WooCommerce is one of our core specialities. We build custom online stores with secure payment processing, product catalogue management, shipping integrations, and everything you need to sell online. Whether you're launching a new store or upgrading an existing one, we handle the full build from design through to launch and ongoing support.
If your site is already WordPress, yes: we move it from any host with zero downtime, preserving content, SEO rankings, and URLs through proper 301 redirects and metadata transfer. If your site is on another platform (Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, or static HTML), it can't be migrated as-is; we rebuild it in WordPress instead, bringing your content across and mapping every old URL with a 301 so your rankings carry over.
Look for proof rather than promises. Ask for named clients with dated, measurable results (we publish ours as case studies), check the reviews are real ones you can verify on Google, find out who actually does the work (here, it's the founder, not a rotating account team), and run the agency's own website through PageSpeed Insights. An agency that can't make its own site fast won't make yours fast.
Most UK WordPress agencies charge between £70 and £150 per hour. Our hourly rate is £40 ex-VAT, and for full projects we quote fixed prices instead, so the risk of overruns sits with us rather than you: design projects from £1,500, WooCommerce stores from £3,000, and maintenance plans from £30 per month that include hands-on edit time.
