Sell off-plan with a website that shows the vision
We build WordPress websites for property developers with CGI galleries, interactive site plans, plot availability, and phase release pages that sell homes before they're built.
Buyers need to see it before they believe it - your website makes that happen
Selling homes off-plan is a different game. Buyers can't walk through a show home that doesn't exist yet. Your website has to do that job. CGI renders, virtual tours, specification documents, and site plans need to look stunning on screen. We build WordPress websites for house builders and property developers that present your schemes professionally. Each development gets its own microsite-style section with plot availability that you update as sales progress. Phase releases are managed through your WordPress dashboard, going live when you're ready.
Your website also needs to work commercially. Enquiry forms capture buyer interest with budget, timeframe, and property preferences. Help to Buy and shared ownership information sits alongside standard purchase details. NHBC warranty logos build confidence with first-time buyers. We've worked with developers building five homes on a single plot through to schemes of 200-plus across multiple phases. The WordPress platform scales with your business, and you're not paying per-plot fees to a proprietary platform.
Every project is led by Mark McNeece, founder of Press Forge and 365i.

What I'd Build First for a Property Developer, and Why
First build: a proper page per development: plot availability kept current, full specifications as text rather than a brochure download, and dated construction progress photos. Buyers research a developer's track record harder than almost any other purchase, and a development page that shows real progress, honestly dated, answers the question every off-plan buyer is silently asking: will this actually get built?
What I'd reject: the CGI-only marketing site. Renders have a place before ground is broken, but a site that's still all CGI when the show home is open reads as evasive. I'd also reject burying the warranty provider and building-control route in the small print; leading with them turns regulatory plumbing into a selling point.
The rules your website has to respect
- Building Safety Act 2022: reshaped duties across design and construction; a plain statement of how you comply reassures buyers and their solicitors
- NHBC warranty: the warranty is one of the first things a buyer's solicitor asks about; name the provider on every development page
- New Homes Quality Board: the code governing how new-home buyers are treated; registration is a differentiator worth explaining, not just badging
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about WordPress websites for property developers
Yes. Each plot has a simple status field in WordPress - available, reserved, sold, or coming soon. You change the status and it updates across your site instantly. The site plan, listings page, and individual plot page all reflect the change. No developer needed.
Each development gets its own section with a landing page, site plan, plot listings, and specification downloads. Your main developments page lists all schemes with photos and locations. When a scheme sells out, you archive it to your completed projects section.
Yes. We create clickable site plans where buyers hover over a plot to see its status and click through to full details. Colour coding shows available, reserved, and sold plots at a glance. It's the closest thing to standing in a sales office.
We display your NHBC Buildmark warranty logo and registration number on your site. A dedicated section explains the ten-year warranty coverage. First-time buyers in particular look for NHBC protection. It's a trust signal that influences purchase decisions.
Yes. We set up downloadable PDFs for kitchen specifications, bathroom finishes, flooring options, and upgrade packages. Each development can have its own spec documents. Buyers review materials at home and come to viewings better informed.
You create a new phase in WordPress with its plots, pricing, and expected completion dates. Set it to draft until you're ready to release. When launch day arrives, hit publish. The phase appears on your development page with all plots available. Simple as that.
