WordPress Sites That Keep Your Phone Ringing
We build plumber websites that turn emergency searches into booked jobs, with Gas Safe credentials front and centre.
When did a customer last find you through your website?
Plumbing is one of the most searched-for trades in the UK. Every day, thousands of people type "emergency plumber near me" into Google. If your website doesn't show up, that work goes to someone else. We've built WordPress sites for plumbers across the country, from one-person operations to teams running multiple vans. The pattern is always the same - a fast, mobile-friendly site with your Gas Safe number visible gets more calls than a flashy design that takes five seconds to load. Your customers are standing in a flooded kitchen. They don't want to scroll through fancy animations.
A plumber's WordPress site needs to do three things well: show you're qualified, make it dead easy to call you, and prove you do good work. We build sites with prominent Gas Safe and APHC badges, sticky click-to-call buttons, and before-and-after galleries of real jobs. We also set up service pages for each type of work you do - boiler installations, bathroom plumbing, drain repairs - because that's how Google matches you to what people are searching for. It's not complicated, but it does need doing properly.
Every project is led by Mark McNeece, founder of Press Forge and 365i.

Everything You Need to Succeed Online
The features that matter most for plumbers
Emergency Callout Banner
A fixed banner with your phone number and "24/7 Emergency" messaging that stays visible on every page. When someone's got a burst pipe at 2am, you're one tap away.
Gas Safe Integration
Your Gas Safe registration number and badge displayed prominently with a direct link to the official register. Builds instant trust with homeowners checking your credentials.
Service Area Coverage
Individual pages for each town and postcode area you cover. This is how local plumbers beat the national directories in Google search results.
Before-and-After Galleries
Photo galleries showing your completed work, from boiler swaps to full bathroom plumbing. Real photos of real jobs sell better than stock images ever will.
Online Booking System
Let customers book non-emergency appointments directly through your site. Fewer phone calls to return after a long day on the tools.
Review Display
Pull in your Google and Checkatrade reviews automatically. Homeowners trust other homeowners more than any sales copy you could write.

What I'd Build First for a Plumber, and Why
First build: the emergency call-out page, optimised for mobile and ruthlessly fast. Someone with water coming through the ceiling is searching on a phone, in a panic, and will call the first credible result. That page needs your phone number tappable in the first screenful, your response area stated plainly, and nothing slowing it down. Every second of load time on that page is a lost job.
What I'd reject: leading with a brochure-style "about our family business" homepage. The trust content matters, but it belongs behind the conversion path, not in front of it. Heritage doesn't fix a burst pipe; a fast page with a phone number does, and the about story can do its work once the leak is stopped.
The rules your website has to respect
- Gas Safe Register: if you touch gas, your registration number belongs on every page, linked to the register so customers can verify it
- WaterSafe approval: the recognised mark for approved plumbers; link it rather than just badging it
- Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999: worth referencing on installation pages; it signals you work to the actual rules, not just "industry standards"
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about WordPress websites for plumbers
Our plumber WordPress sites start from around £1,500 for a professional five-page site. Most plumbers go for a package that includes service area pages and a booking system, which typically runs between £2,000 and £3,500. You get a site that actually brings in work, not just a digital business card.
Absolutely. We display your Gas Safe registration number and official badge on every page. We also link directly to the Gas Safe Register so customers can verify your credentials themselves. It's one of the first things homeowners look for.
Every site we build is mobile-first. Over 70% of emergency plumbing searches happen on phones, so your site needs to load fast and make calling you effortless. We add sticky call buttons and keep forms short so people can reach you in seconds.
We build every page with local SEO in mind. That means proper page titles, service area pages for each location you cover, and schema markup that tells Google you're a local plumber. We also help you set up Google Business Profile to appear on maps.
Yes. We integrate booking calendars that let customers pick a date and time for non-emergency work. You set your available slots, and the system handles confirmations. It saves you hours of phone tag every week.
We do. Larger plumbing firms need features like job area routing, team profile pages, and sometimes customer portals. We've built sites for plumbing companies with up to fifteen engineers across multiple depots.
