Your firm's reputation starts with your website

When someone needs a solicitor, they search online first. Conveyancing, family law, wills and probate, employment disputes - whatever your practice areas, your WordPress website needs to be the first thing they find. We've built sites for high street firms, boutique practices, and multi-office law firms across the UK. We understand how legal services work.

SRA compliance isn't just a box to tick. Your website needs proper regulatory statements, complaints procedures, and transparency rules displayed correctly. We handle all of that. Beyond compliance, your site needs clear practice area pages, team profiles that build confidence, and contact forms that capture enough detail to triage enquiries before the first call.

What I'd Build First for a Law Firm, and Why

First build: the price transparency pages the SRA already requires for consumer services like conveyancing, probate, and motoring offences. Most firms publish the bare minimum as a buried PDF; building them as proper, readable pages turns a compliance chore into the highest-converting content on the site, because price is the question every client has and almost no firm answers well.

What I'd reject: leading the homepage with "partner-led service" and a photo of the building. Our longest-standing client is an employment law firm, and what nearly 20 years of working on that site has taught me is that plain-English answers to legal questions are what bring clients in. People search their problem, not your structure.

The rules your website has to respect

  • SRA Transparency Rules: mandatory price and service information for certain consumer services; do it properly and it converts as well as complies
  • SRA digital badge (clickable logo): the clickable regulation badge has been mandatory on regulated firms' sites since November 2019, and it's third-party verification built in
  • The Law Society: link your Find a Solicitor profile; an independent register listing supports every claim your site makes
