Your boutique has personality - your website should show it

A boutique isn't just a shop. It's a carefully chosen selection, a point of view, a sense of style. Your website needs to capture that feeling. We build WooCommerce stores for independent fashion boutiques that feel more like a lookbook than a catalogue. Full-width imagery, editorial layouts, and brand storytelling that sets you apart from the high street chains. Your customers come to you because you're different. Your website should prove that from the first click.

Practical features matter just as much as aesthetics. Size guides reduce returns. Variant selectors for colour and size work without page reloads. Quick-view lets browsers see details without leaving the collection page. We connect your store to Instagram so your social following can shop directly from your posts. And because boutique stock moves fast, updating your website is quick and painless. New arrivals go live in minutes, not days.

Everything You Need to Succeed Online

The features that matter most for boutiques

Lookbook Layouts

Editorial-style pages that showcase outfits and styling ideas. More inspiring than a standard product grid.

Size Guides

Brand-specific size charts on every product page. Customers order the right size first time, reducing returns significantly.

Brand Showcases

Dedicated pages for each brand you stock with their story, logo, and full product listing. Fans find their favourites fast.

Quick View

Customers see product details, photos, and sizing in a pop-up without leaving the collection page. Faster browsing means more sales.

New Arrivals Feed

Automatically updated section showing your latest stock. Gives returning customers a reason to check back regularly.

Instagram Shop Integration

Connect your WooCommerce store to Instagram so followers can shop directly from your posts and stories.

Key Pages We Build

Every website includes the essential pages your customers expect.

  • Collections Seasonal and themed collection pages with editorial photography and "shop the look" functionality.
  • Brands Individual brand pages with story, logo, and full product listings so loyal customers find their labels quickly.
  • New In Auto-updated page of latest arrivals with dates added, keeping your regulars engaged and coming back.

What I'd Build First for a Boutique, and Why

First build: size and fit content on every product: real measurements, the model's size, honest notes on cut. Returns are the margin killer in independent fashion retail, most returns are fit-driven, and every return a good size guide prevents goes straight back onto the bottom line. It also ranks: shoppers search brand-plus-sizing questions constantly.

What I'd reject: the lookbook site, where editorial photography exists but stock, sizes, and prices don't. It treats the website as a magazine when the customer is trying to shop. The styling photography belongs on the product pages, attached to a live size selector, not in a separate gallery that dead-ends.

The rules your website has to respect

  • Textile labelling rules: fibre composition must be accurate online as on the garment label; product descriptions inherit the legal duty
  • Consumer Rights Act 2015: underpins your returns policy; matching the law and saying so beats copying another shop's terms
  • Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: the online cancellation rights your checkout and terms must reflect; sale items are not exempt, whatever the sign says in shops
