Your best landscaping projects are hiding on your phone camera roll

Landscaping is probably the most visual trade there is. A well-designed garden, a freshly laid patio, a complete back garden transformation - these projects photograph beautifully and sell themselves when displayed properly. But most landscapers we've worked with had hundreds of stunning project photos sitting on their phone, unseen by anyone except mates on WhatsApp. A WordPress website gives those projects a permanent home where potential customers can browse your work, get inspired, and decide you're the landscaper they want. We've built sites for garden designers, hard landscapers, and full-service landscaping firms across the UK.

Landscaping has distinct seasons, and your website should work with that rhythm. Spring and summer bring garden design enquiries. Autumn is about tidy-ups and preparation. Winter is planning season for bigger projects. We build WordPress sites with seasonal content sections, blog capabilities for design inspiration posts, and project galleries that showcase your work throughout the year. We also set up pages for each service - patios, fencing, turfing, planting schemes, water features - so you rank for the specific searches homeowners are making. British Association of Landscape Industries or Association of Professional Landscapers membership gets pride of place on your site.

Everything You Need to Succeed Online

The features that matter most for landscapers

Seasonal Project Galleries

Photo galleries tagged by season showing how your landscapes look throughout the year. A garden photographed in summer and winter tells a fuller story.

Design Process Showcase

Visual timeline from initial consultation through design concepts to completed garden. Shows customers the care and planning behind every project.

Service Area Maps

Coverage maps and location pages for each area you work in. Essential for landscapers who travel to specific regions for projects.

BALI Membership Display

British Association of Landscape Industries or APL membership badges displayed prominently. Industry accreditation matters for high-value garden projects.

Garden Inspiration Blog

A blog section for seasonal planting tips, design trends, and project case studies. Brings in organic traffic from homeowners researching garden ideas.

Project Enquiry Forms

Detailed forms capturing garden size, project type, style preferences, and budget range. Gets you the information needed to prioritise and respond to enquiries.

Key Pages We Build

Every website includes the essential pages your customers expect.

  • Garden Design Portfolio of garden design projects with concept drawings, 3D renders if available, and finished installations.
  • Hard Landscaping Patios, pathways, retaining walls, and driveways with material options including natural stone, porcelain, and block paving.
  • Soft Landscaping Planting schemes, turfing, borders, and mature planting with examples showing gardens at different stages of growth.
  • Commercial Landscaping Services for developers, hotels, offices, and public spaces including grounds maintenance contracts.

What I'd Build First for a Landscaper, and Why

First build: a project gallery organised by budget band, with honest "from" figures against each. Landscaping enquiries fail most often on mismatched expectations: the customer pictured a £25,000 garden on a £6,000 budget. Publishing budget bands next to real finished gardens fixes that before the site visit, which saves everyone's time and makes the quotes that do happen convert.

What I'd reject: the cinematic drone showreel as the homepage. It demonstrates the videographer's skill, not yours, and it pushes the practical questions (price, timescale, area covered) below the fold. Beautiful work shown plainly outsells ordinary work shown cinematically.
