Physiotherapy websites that bring patients to your clinic
WordPress sites with HCPC compliance, condition-specific pages, and referral pathway information for GPs and patients.
Patients search for their condition, not your clinic name
When someone has a bad back or a sports injury, they search for the problem first. "Physiotherapy for lower back pain" or "sports physio near me" - that's how patients find you. Your website needs pages that answer those specific searches. We build WordPress sites for physiotherapy practices with individual condition pages that rank on Google and give patients the information they need to book. HCPC registration details, CSP membership, and professional indemnity information all need to be visible. We build these into your site properly so patients and referring GPs can verify your credentials instantly.
Referral pathways matter for physiotherapists. GPs, consultants, and employers all need to know how to refer patients to your clinic. We build dedicated referral pages with downloadable forms, accepted insurance providers, and self-referral information. Your WordPress site becomes a resource for both patients and referrers. We also add exercise video libraries, blog sections for rehabilitation advice, and condition trackers that keep patients engaged between appointments. It's a clinical website that works commercially too.
Every project is led by Mark McNeece, founder of Press Forge and 365i.

What I'd Build First for a Physiotherapy Clinic, and Why
First build: condition pages written in the patient's words: back pain, frozen shoulder, sciatica, sports injuries. Patients search their symptom, not your method, and a page that says "here's what shoulder pain like yours usually is, and here's how assessment works" wins the booking from the clinic whose site lists "musculoskeletal services". Each page ends at the online booking system, because pain doesn't want a callback form.
What I'd reject: organising the site around treatment modalities (acupuncture, ultrasound, manual therapy). No patient has ever searched for the machine. Modality content can exist further down each condition page as proof of toolkit, but it should never be the navigation.
The rules your website has to respect
- HCPC registration: "physiotherapist" is a protected title; linking each clinician's HCPC registration is the foundation trust signal
- Chartered Society of Physiotherapy: chartered status is worth a line of explanation; most patients don't know it implies degree-level training
- ASA advertising codes: health claims on websites are regulated advertising; your condition pages must claim only what evidence supports
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about WordPress websites for physiotherapists
Your HCPC registration number is mandatory and must be publicly displayed. We also include CSP membership details, professional indemnity insurance information, and your complaints procedure. If you offer specialist services like acupuncture, those additional qualifications need to be shown too.
When someone searches "physiotherapy for knee pain" or "sports injury treatment near me," a dedicated page on your site can rank for that search. Each page explains the condition, your treatment approach, and expected recovery timeline. This brings in patients who are actively looking for help with that exact problem.
Yes. We build a professional referral section with downloadable referral forms, accepted insurance providers, and direct contact details for your referral coordinator. Some practices also accept online referral submissions through a secure form. It makes referring to your clinic as simple as possible for busy GPs.
We can build a resource section with exercise videos, PDF downloads, and rehabilitation guides. Some practices use Physiotools or similar software, and we can link those programmes to your website. Patients access their prescribed exercises between appointments, which improves outcomes and engagement.
We create a clear fees page listing your charges for initial assessments, follow-ups, and specialist treatments. Alongside this, we list every health insurer you're registered with, including Bupa, AXA, Vitality, and Aviva. Patients know immediately whether their insurance covers treatment at your clinic.
WordPress is designed for exactly this. You can add blog posts about rehabilitation topics, update your conditions pages, add new team members, and change your fees. We provide training during handover and ongoing support if you get stuck. Most physio practice owners find it straightforward.
